Creosote isn’t just a nuisance; it’s a fire hazard that thickens with every Shoreview winter. Our crew removes it completely, not just the top layer, so your chimney stays safe and your fireplace burns clean. We’ll inspect for cracks or blockages too, since those can turn a small buildup into a bigger problem. Pricing starts at $140 for a standard sweep, but if we find hidden issues, we’ll explain them upfront, no upselling. Most Shoreview homes need this at least once a year, especially if you’ve been using the fireplace regularly.
Call about this serviceSkipping the inspection is how you end up paying for a sweep that doesn’t solve the root issue. In Shoreview’s older homes near Snelling Avenue, we often find rusted caps or cracked flues that let cold air in and smoke out. Our inspections cost $95 and take 20 minutes, but they save you from wasting money on a sweep that won’t last. If we find something serious, like a blocked flue, we’ll tell you exactly what it’ll take to fix it, with no pressure to book on the spot. That’s how you avoid the ‘surprise repair’ call later.
Call about this serviceA fireplace that smokes into the room or struggles to stay lit usually needs more than just a sweep. Our crew relines flues with stainless steel or ceramic, which lasts 20+ years and costs less than replacing the whole chimney. In Shoreview, we see a lot of older homes with deteriorated liners that let heat escape and pull in cold air. We’ll give you a no-pressure quote for repairs, including sealing gaps around the damper. No ‘one-size-fits-all’ pricing, just the work your fireplace actually needs.
Call about this servicePellet stoves in Shoreview homes near the river often get clogged with ash and resin buildup, which cuts efficiency and creates smoke. We clean the burn pot, ash pan, and exhaust pipe thoroughly, then check for proper airflow. A clogged stove can cost you $50–$100 extra per month in fuel. Our service starts at $120 and includes a quick test burn to ensure it’s running right. No ‘add-on’ fees for minor adjustments, just a stove that works like new.
Call about this serviceIf your chimney’s blocked and smoke’s filling your home, you don’t have time to wait. We’ll show up within 4 hours (or sooner if it’s a true emergency) to clear the blockage and inspect for damage. Shoreview’s older neighborhoods near the lake see this after heavy rain or when birds nest in flues. Our emergency rate is $180 for the first hour, but we’ll waive it if the blockage was caused by our previous work. No red tape, just a fast, honest fix.
Call about this serviceShoreview winters hit hard, and a chimney that’s not ready can mean cold drafts or even a fire hazard. Our Winter Prep Package includes a full sweep, inspection, and up to $100 in minor repairs (like sealing small cracks) for $220–15% off the total cost. We’ll schedule it before the first snow, so you’re not scrambling in December. This is the smart move for homes near the river, where moisture speeds up creosote buildup. No contracts, no pressure, just a chimney that’s safe and efficient for the season.
